This course is designed for solicitors who wish to improve their advocacy skills. It consists of 5 one day modules, all of which must be completed to attain the Diploma. However, each is a separate course in its own right and can be booked individually. Led by a leading advocacy trainer, this highly interactive and unique course will help make you a better advocate and, just as importantly, increase your confidence in your ability. Past delegates have been glowing in their praise of the course!

Higher Rights advocates are required to complete 5 hours of advocacy training each year as part of the overall CPD requirement of 16 hours. Attendance at one of the modules will satisfy this requirement.

Module Name	Module Description
Module 1	Case Management Strategies - planning the attack and the course of the litigation.
Module 2	Advanced Draft Pleadings, including Schedules.
Module 3	Interim Applications, Legal Submissions and Case Management Conferences.
Module 4	Cross-examination techniques, including expert and vulnerable witnesses.
Module 5	Trial, including opening and closing speeches and skeleton arguments.
