This is the new training course that Fellows of ILEX must attend if they want to obtain extended rights of audience in family proceedings. Successful candidates will obtain the Family Proceedings Certificate and be entitled to use the designation 'Legal Executive Advocate'.
The course comprises six days of interactive face-to-face tuition in a small group, using case studies and practical exercises. The sixth day involves an advocacy assessment and a short written test in the law of evidence.
