Introduction
The legal services market is undergoing huge change. Competition is intensifying; new business models are emerging; and clients’ needs are rapidly changing. Junior lawyers must therefore become much more business-like and commercial in the way they operate.
Effective management is a key part of this: management of clients, people, finances and the services we provide.
This programme provides an essential insight into these, and other, key management issues. It will also help you improve your awareness, and understanding, of the key business drivers within legal practice. Overall, it is designed to enable you to make a more valuable contribution to the organisation you work for, be it a traditional law firm, an ABS, or an in-house legal department in the private or public sector.
Attendance will also satisfy the SRA requirement that all solicitors must take this programme before the end of their third CPD year after admission.
