CPD hours
How many CPD hours is my course?
Kaplan Altior courses are accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Bar Standards Board and ILEX.
Management Course Stage 1 is 7 hours solicitors' CPD training.
Management Course Stage 2 comprises 12 hours solicitors' CPD training.
Higher Rights of Audience Stage 1 is 24 CPD hours.
Higher Rights of Audience Stage 2 is 18 CPD hours.Complaints Handling in Chambers is 6 Barristers' CPD hours.
All our half and one day training courses are between 3 - 6 solicitors' and barristers' CPD hours - please see your chosen course page for further details.

Payment Methods
Can I pay by cheque for my training?
Yes. Cheques should be made payable to:

Can I pay by Credit/Debit card?
Yes. Please call your course manager who will be happy to take your credit/debit card payment over the phone.
Can I pay by BACS for my training?
Yes. If you would like to pay for training by direct bank transfer, please request the BACS details from your course manager.

Can I become a member with Kaplan Altior to gain discounts?

I did my Professional Skills Course with you - can i get any discounts?
Yes. As you are already a Kaplan Altior PSC delegate, we will be able to offer you a special loyalty discount on the price of your Management Course Stage 1.

Venues & Locations
Where will my course be held?
Kaplan Altior runs courses in towns and cities across England and Wales. We try to use as many city centre locations as possible, close to rail and road links.
For QLTT, we run assessments in cities internationally upon request (if possible).

Booking details
How do I make a booking?
You can send a booking enquiry from the website at www.altior.co.uk, call us on 029 2045 1000, or return a brochure booking form to Kaplan Altior, 136 Newport Road, Cardiff, CF24 1DJ.
Can I make a provisional booking?
We do not accept provisional bookings.
Do I have to book before I attend a course?
Yes. We need to have final number of delegates in advance of a course to ensure the right number of course packs and the correct details for venue hire and catering.

Transfers & Cancellations
Can I transfer onto a different course/ course date?
You can transfer from one course to another, however, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee of £75 plus VAT if you wish to re-arrange your course within 14 days before the course date.
How do I cancel a course booking?
Once we have accepted your booking, you are not entitled to cancel it and you are liable for the full course fee. However, delegates may be substituted free of charge, provided that you notify us in writing before the start of the course.
