Cardiff-based altior, one of the UK's leading legal training, recruitment and consulting providers, will be kick starting its 25th anniversary celebrations this year with a one-off special event at the beginning of March.
Top legal management consultants and altior co-founders, John Loosemore and Robert Parsons, will be giving a half-day seminar, 'Back to the Future: Lessons we wish we'd learnt earlier', and hosting a celebratory drinks reception. To mark the occasion, altior will also be offering a free place on the seminar for every place booked.
The pair, who are both former law firm managing partners and now international speakers on management issues, will draw on their years of experience to look at key issues affecting the successful management of a 21st Century law firm.
John and Robert co-founded altior in 1979 after spotting a gap in the legal training market, particularly for law firm management and marketing-related courses. Both are still regular tutors on courses run by altior and Robert is also the author of several best-sellers, including his last book 'The Heart of Success', which reached number two in The Times Business Books Best Seller List. His new book 'The Money Secret' is tipped for similar success.
"As altior is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to look back and share some of our experiences with friends and colleagues from around the country," said John Loosemore, chairman of altior.
"We've developed this seminar to sum up the most important principles for competing effectively in the current climate and becoming better lawyers for the modern market. It will be a relaxed and fun afternoon, but we hope that people will pick up some useful tips too."
The seminar, which is Law Society-accredited for three CPD hours, will be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hyde Park in London on Tuesday 1 March 2005.
