altior, one of the UK’s leading providers of legal training, has strengthened its senior management team, by recruiting an Operations Director to work with the existing team of training course managers and administrators.

As part of altior’s continued growth and development, Jody Tranter joins from a Further Education college to take up the newly created Operations Director role. Jody will be responsible for a range of activity to ensure the smooth day to day running of altior’s public and in-house training courses.

Prior to joining altior, Jody worked successfully at Coleg Glan Hafren in Cardiff for over 10 years, and was most recently the Faculty Manager responsible for GCSEs, A levels and English for International Students. In that role, Jody managed over 60 staff and all of the associated operational aspects relating to an extensive course programme. Jody is also an experienced teacher of accounting and other subjects.

Of her new appointment, Jody commented, “I am delighted to have won the role at altior, and excited to engage in the tasks ahead. Whilst staying in the general field of education, I feel this is a refreshing change for me and I am looking forward to becoming a valued member of the successful team at altior.”

Mark Loosemore, Chief Executive of altior, added: “I am confident that Jody will prove to be a top class addition to our friendly and professional team; and that her experience and expertise will enable her to make a major contribution at an exciting time for altior.”
