11 February 2009, London -- Kaplan, the legal and financial training provider, today announced the expansion of its legal professional development arm which now allows it to offer complete career-long training for lawyers.
Kaplan runs the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at its London-based Kaplan Law School, as well as the Professional Skills Course and Qualified Lawyers’ Transfer Test.
Now, qualified solicitors and barristers can satisfy the Continuing Professional Development they are required to complete each year with a range of more than 100 courses which are approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board.
“Leveraging the success of training providers Hawksmere and Altior which Kaplan acquired last year, we can now offer training at all levels, from graduate trainee and junior legal staff right through to firm partners and general counsels,” said Peter Houillon, CEO of Kaplan Professional.
