Kaplan Altior is the new trading name for Altior. We are now part of Kaplan Professional, one of the UK’s leading providers of financial, business and law training. Kaplan Professional is a part of Kaplan, Inc., a $2billion business and a subsidiary of the Washington Post. Kaplan has been providing education and career services for individuals, schools and businesses around the world for 70 years. At Kaplan, our mission is to help individuals achieve their educational and career goals. We build futures, one success story at a time.

At Kaplan Altior, we are very excited about the opportunities that the merged business can offer to customers. We continue to offer the established, high quality training courses and consulting services associated with the Altior brand. In addition, we believe customers now benefit from Kaplan’s considerable resources. These include our sister brands Kaplan Law School and Kaplan Hawksmere. Together, we make up Kaplan's expanded legal professional development arm which offers complete career-long training for lawyers.

Kaplan Law School combines Kaplan's global education experience and expertise with Nottingham Law School's market leading courses. It brings students high quality legal education in an excellent location in central London. Courses include the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and, from 2010, the Bar Practice Training Course (BPTC).
Kaplan Altior specialises in management, advocacy and other skills training for the legal sector. It is a leading provider of the Professional Skills Course (PSC), Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT), Management Course Stage 1 and 2, Higher Rights of Audience and a range of other programmes on both a public and in house basis.
Kaplan Hawksmere has over many years established a solid reputation for the quality and timeliness of its seminars and conferences in subjects as diverse as business law, commercial contracting, project management, facilities management, marketing, PR and senior management development.
